I was in high school and didn't want to go to college right away. I had been doing hair, cutting, coloring, even perming, but I didn't want to pursue it in school because I was more of a tomboy growing up, so I decided to join the Army. My high school sweetheart had convinced me that I should join the National Guard, instead of the regular Army. 

One day, after drill (it was the night before my 20th birthday), my mom and dad picked me up to take me out for my birthday and we went to dinner and a movie, A Time to Kill. On the way to my friend's mom's house (where she was waiting for me to spend the night to go to drill the next morning) a drunk driver T-boned us at 65mph, while we were doing 60mph, the speed limit was 55mph. I almost lost my life that night, but the medical team saved me, and my mom and dad survived too!

Life went on, after we recovered, and I was able to get back to work, but my military career was over. I eventually ended up going to Cosmetology school, twice, before I graduated; but I was finally making a living doing hair, that is, until my physical ailments (due to the car accident) caught up with me, and now I have found myself in my late 40's, on disability, unable to do much physically, and having to get lots of surgeries.

After a few years on disability, I found myself fed up just sitting around and living off of Social Security Disability payments. I had looked into Affiliate Marketing by buying a book on "how to" do Affiliate Marketing, but that didn't work out. One day I was surfing the internet (Facebook, I believe) and I came across a program that teaches you how to become an Affiliate Marketer and I became hooked.
